Formally the Third World Fair, this annual Xmas event for 60 fair trade organisations is now in its 15th year. We co-ordinate all aspects of the event on behalf of the charities Oxfam, World Development Movement and War On Want, from stall sales to publicity, radio interviews and live entertainment. This year we held a summer version of the event at the Greater London Authority's Respect Festival. The winter event has become the main fair trade and alternative Xmas shopping event in London, packing the venue to capacity, while this year's summer event was a big success with about 4,000 visitors over the course of the afternoon.
Outdoor Events
Having staged events in many of central London's parks, squares and highways, we have built up warm relationships with parks management, landowners and local authorities. With our track record we can get meetings off on the right footing and plan site and route layouts to suite all parties.
Locating even a handful of facilities on site is a skill in itself requiring the ability to communicate instructions to a wide range of contractors and staff, from celebrities, sponsors and entertainers, to caterers, riggers and mobile toilet attendants. We can co-ordinate the arrival, positioning and removal of all your event's facilities, ensuring both a safe layout and one that looks good too.
Contractors and Service Providers
Being used to the constraints of fundraising and campaigning budgets, we can make sure we appoint the right contractor for you at the right price for your budget. We have an extensive database of tried and tested service providers and have a track record of delivering projects within budget, often significantly so.
Within a few phone calls your event will literally start to take shape. On your behalf we can engage practically any service you require such as: barriers; caterers; first aid; furniture; generators; health and safety co-ordination; inflatables; lighting; marquees; radio communications; sound systems; staging; stewarding; toilets; welfare services etc.

Entertainment
Over the years we have programmed successful entertainment to compliment a wide range of campaign and fundraising events. We can literally call upon hundreds of performers to hit the right note including: jazz bands; tribute bands; world music; classical ensembles; bollywood music; arts groups to help you dress a carnival float; 40s big bands; cutting edge DJs; dance; walkabout street theatre - in fact anything from stiltwalking triffids to Egyptian dance music complete with belly dancers!
Of course we can provide a comprehensive support service including stage management and technical requirements and we can look after your entertainers needs to ensure they'll be in the right mood to give a good performance that will reflect well on your organisation.
Health and Safety, Licensing
In recent years it has become a matter of course to produce a Risk Assessment and Event Safety Plan for your event. In close partnership we can write these for you and engage the UK's most trusted Independent Health and Safety consultants to give them their seal of approval. Time and again we have found that our documents set the right tone for a meeting and show that we have given serious thought to the safety and welfare of our staff and public.
Over the years we have built up excellent relations with local authority licensing departments. You may need to apply for entertainment or temporary structures licences, if so, we can deal with the paperwork and any follow up site meetings while you concentrate on getting your organisation's message across. We can make sure you consult with all the necessary landowners, local authorities and emergency services to ensure your event runs friction free.
